ABSTRACT
Information system is a set of components that aids in decision-making of an organization, and businesses strengthen its survival rate by being at an advantage, maximum efficiency and constant changes for improvements, and business process redesigning. The daily business operations mostly depend on the information technology (IT). Here, the relationship of a business with IT could not be denied as it becomes the essential key toward business goals. One of the purposes of the implementation of IT in a business is to enable communication between companies with shareholders and other staff by sharing related business information. In addition, IT also facilitates in products development as it speeds up the process of products entering the market. The process of products innovation is being done to ensure a continuously satisfying customer’s demand. This study is focused on IT and its empowerment to business process redesigning though Six Sigma implementation.
