ABSTRACT

The technology advancement has led to massive changes in the patterns of business world. Companies are now taking up consumer taste as their priority. They ask the consumers on what they think will satisfy their needs, rather than trying excessively to produce something new that they think may satisfy the consumers. The process of making the product must adapt to changes because some tasks might be unnecessary and take up longer period of time that may cause inefficiency. For successful implementation, the company must ensure good communication between the workforce of the company thoroughly. Information technology (IT) is considered to do with the use of computer hardware and software to ensure that the information can be made as a material to be put on the previous section; BPR is supposed to help improve computer and output, transform, keep in reserve, safe, organized, and can be resolved. This study will analyze the following topics: business process reengineering (BPR), IT, and information systems (IS) in detail, and then the roles of IT and IS in BPR to improve the business’ performance and also to ensure its success.
