The UNESCO Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human

Rights2 recalls this idea in several parts, in particular with its

Article 33 and it links it to the idea of equality (Art. 10)4 and

non-discrimination (Art. 11).5 It has also been linked to human

genome by the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Human Genome

and Human Rights.6
