ABSTRACT

Dynamics is the study of objects in motion such as iterative processes; fractals are geometric objects that are static images. However, it has become apparent that most chaotic regions for dynamical systems are fractals. Hence, in order to understand chaotic behavior completely, people must pause to understand the geometric structure of fractals. Note how the same image may be obtained in two remarkably different ways: via the deterministic process of removing triangles and also via the probabilistic methods of the chaos game. There are many fractals that may be constructed via variations on the theme of infinite removals. The chaos game was played by randomly iterating three different contractions. One of the crudest measurements of dimension is the notion of topological dimension.
