ABSTRACT

Molecular models make it possible to calculate the concentration density profile in the interphase region. For curved boundaries, the procedure for calculating the concentration profile is identical to the procedure for a flat boundary. The radius of the liquid part of the drop R is an additional parameter of the state of the ‘drop-vapour’ system. The temperatures below are given in the dimensionless form τ = T/Tc, where Tc is the critical temperature in the bulk phase and is defined as the disappearance temperature of two-phase regions (stratification).
