The quantity ρr = ρG is found from the condition min(σG) of the surface tension when the position ρG is varied inside the transition region and when the concentration profile {θq
i} is recalculated for each value of the reference surface, 1 < ρG < κ. The states of the coexisting phases (but not the transition region) are considered fixed. The quantities Fq are defined (24.4).
