ABSTRACT
Processes occurring in vacuum are mainly influenced by the order of vacuum. Hence, it is essential to measure the gas pressure with fair accuracy. Gauges commonly used for the measurement of pressure in vacuum practice are discussed here. The selection of the type of gauge is determined by the range of pressure or the order of vacuum.
