ABSTRACT
Construction of the National Facility for Cyclic Testing of High-speed Heavy Haul Rail at the Russell Vale High Bay Laboratory, University of Wollongong (funded by the Australian Research Council) – reinforced pit can accommodate sufficient depths of subgrade, structural fill or sub-ballast, and ballast for accurate simulation of dynamic track response.
