ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the biography of Max Bernhard Weinstein and discusses the work of Weinstein in the field of thermodynamics and kinetics. It recognizes Weinstein’s striving for the deepest possible consideration of the physical–chemical problems, without restricting his studies to purely mathematical reasoning. The chapter discusses the work of Weinstein in other fields such as natural sciences and philosophy. It also includes a complete list of publications by Weinstein.
