ABSTRACT
The LiNH 2 BH 3 quaternary compound, which crystallizes in the orthorhombic structure with the lattice parameters a = 711.274 ± 0.006, b = 1394.877 ± 0.014, and c = 515.018 ± 0.006 pm, is formed in the B–H–Li–N system (Xiong et al. 2008b). It decomposes directly to hydrogen on heating, with vigorous H2 release at around 92°C.
