ABSTRACT
I. INTRODUCTION Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) combine the flexibility and impact resistance of rubbers with the strength and easy processability of thermoplastics. In addition, they have frictional properties and hardness that are generally intermediate between those of conventional rubbers and those of thermoplastics. The TPE can be repeatedly processed and molded, and retains its elastomeric properties.
