ABSTRACT
The numbers 2 in the program are integer constants, denoting whole-number exponents (as discussed below in §2.3). Integer numbers are stored exactly, but have a more limited range than reals (as described in §4.1). There is no syntax for integer constants similar to the E notation for reals.
