ABSTRACT

In [HK95], the concept of a finitely primary monoid was introduced in order to investigate the elasticity of one-dimensional noetherian integral domains. Subsequently, this concept proved to be useful in all deeper arithmetical investigations of one-dimensional integral domains (see [Ger98]). Nevertheless, the multiplicative monoids of local one-dimensional integral domains have several properties which essentially adhere to their additive structure. This note is addressed to properties of this kind.
