ABSTRACT

In the previous chapter, the composition of commercially important mints was discussed.

However, as can be seen from Chapter 1, there are 18 species, numerous subspecies and

varieties, and 11 hybrids and varieties known. As a result, this chapter is devoted to the

composition of the Mentha species, subspecies, and varieties that are of little or no commer-

cial value. It proceeds in the same order as that found in the first chapter.
