ABSTRACT
A distribution system consists of thousands of components such as transformers,
circuit breakers, overhead lines, underground cable, fuse cutouts, and sectional-
izing switches. These components are building blocks that can be assembled in a
myriad of ways to create a wide variety of distribution system designs, each with
its own unique characteristics.
