ABSTRACT
Intent Define what the solution is and what it is for-a statement of intent defines what it is for as well as what it is. Describe the intent of the IA2 P. The intent may be to augment an enterprise architecture, a systems engineering focus, systems development, or requirements engineering. Table A.1 provides a template to make notes in context of enterprise dynamics; Table A.2 provides a template in context of the IA2 views. Appendix B provides additional templates for IA2 views that may help you during application of the IA2 Process. Determine what works best for the situation at hand. The templates provide a guide to capture details. Following use of the templates to gather details, write a narrative of the intent. This narrative may transfer to the official enterprise architecture documents.
