ABSTRACT
Innovation has actually been continuously evolving, and Internet of Things take part in new technological advancements in various industrial sectors. One such innovations drives manufacturing to new elevations. In this chapter, evolution of Industrial Internet of Things have been discussed with automated lean manufacturing by the involvement of industrial process control system such as programmable logic controller, supervisory control and data acquisition through a solution what is called operation technology to information technology integration that manages the transition of a product between design and development to smart operations. Industrial Internet of Things innovations allow smart factories to provide better functional effectiveness, on-demand products, and accessibility to information from any kind of source at any time and apply environmentally sustainable practices.
