ABSTRACT
Product lifecycle management along with traditional manufacturing systems combined with Industrial Internet of Things brings a significant modification in the way the enterprise work. This chapter discusses on high-level use case of product lifecycle management with enterprise resource planning; combination of product lifecycle management, enterprise resource planning, and manufacturing execution system; and product lifecycle management with Industrial Internet of Things. Finally, the author focuses on few important points that will aid management executives and stakeholders to compute and comprehend return of investment along with return on value. Value can be concrete, straight monetary benefit or intangible benefits that need to be mainly understood past the closure of the task that drives an initiative within the manufacturing enterprise.
