ABSTRACT
To create a model of development of a localized plastic flow, first of all, it is necessary to clearly present its structure and principles of operation. It is quite obvious that the model should be based on the fundamental ideas about the self-organization of the defect structure of a deformable medium, originally formulated by Seeger and Frank [1987]. This statement actually determines that theoretical principles for the development of a model should be borrowed from synergetics, which, in fact, is the theory of structure formation [De Groot, Mazur, 1964; Haken, 1985, 2014; Nicolis, Prigogine, 1979; Cross, Hohenberg, 1993; Prigogine, 2005].
