ABSTRACT

The use of the autowave model of plastic deformation allows its logical development by the method widely used in condensed matter physics. It consists in the introduction of a quasiparticle corresponding to a given wave process. The universality, fruitfulness and expediency of such an approach are substantiated and demonstrated in the extensive literature on condensed matter physics, for example, in the books of Ziman [1962, 1966], Kittel [1967], Patashinsky, Pokrovsky [1975], Kaganov, Lifshits [1989] and especially Brandt, Kulbachinsky [2007]). The idea of a quasiparticle corresponding to an autowave of a localized plastic flow arises on this background quite naturally.
