ABSTRACT
The World Bank 2012 statistics says that the municipal solid waste generation by 2025 will reach 1.42 kg/capital per day in the urban areas, and it will increase cost up to $375.5 billion. As the population increases exponentially with the tremendous utilization of commodities, this leads to strong connection in the income, life and waste generation. In the governance aspect, waste management cost is high. This chapter deals with the effective waste management with the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) with the machine learning algorithm that will be a highly logical way of waste management.
