ABSTRACT
The chapter framed a set of research queries and possible options for the future scope of the work. Initially, the research study identified the limited availability of empirical evaluation of suggested concepts. Further, no technique can serve the entire program development procedure as strong coupling among multiple phases of the process needs to be identified. In addition, most researchers suggested categorization concepts for types of modification and types of dependency that can affect Change Impact Analysis. As a part of the future scope of Change Impact Analysis research, a systematic investigation needs to be performed considering the pros and cons of available studies.
