ABSTRACT
Fiberbed filters are used to control aerosols and mists wherein the mist is typically below 15 microns diameter. The motion of the aerosol or mist itself is used to remove the targets from the gas stream by encouraging the targets to coalesce on fibers, accumulate, and drain out of the gas stream. They are used often for acid mist and oil vapor capture.
