ABSTRACT

Cybersecurity is a growing field of science composed of very diverse types of technologies used to protect systems from different kinds of attacks, some known and some unknown. Due to the complexity of the evolving aspects of these areas, there is no standard classification of protective technologies. The classification of cyber technologies helps to better understand how these technologies work. In this chapter, after a look at some of the different available classification, I will provide the way I have classified the protective cyber technologies reviewed in this book.
