ABSTRACT

In 2020, the number of smartphone users worldwide surpassed three billion, and the number of Internet of Things (IoT) connected devices is forecasted to reach 50 billion by 2030 around the world [1, 2]. Most adults, and a large majority of children, have a mobile phone; homes are connected to the Internet, enterprises and government agencies provide services online, and the devices will continue to be Internet enabled. All of these changes result in more cyber-attacks. These attacks don't just affect large companies or organizations, but each and every individual is at risk. Consequently, people need to look at different kinds of technologies to protect their digital assets and private information, while organizations strive to protect their assets, customer data, and any other information used in their operations and business.
