ABSTRACT

This chapter makes up the main core of the book. Hence, the proposed model in triple organizational processes is explained. In the majority of organizations, these triple processes are found in a traditional format. These include the main, the leadership, and the support processes. The quality engineering techniques are used in both statistical and non-statistical technique branches of the proposed model. Several applications related to these techniques are given in this chapter. Many of the examples given in this chapter can be exploited for industrial purposes in particular. As a matter of fact, the diversity of the instances provided is one of the most striking features of the book. The pre-requisite for studying the chapter is familiarity with the statistical issues for experts and postgraduate students. Further, there are some sections like the one on the application of statistical distribution functions in maintenance departments designed specifically for advanced readers. Having studied this chapter, expert readers, especially organizational experts and managers, can arrive at a comprehensive map for implementing quality engineering techniques in their organizations.
