ABSTRACT
This chapter covers photovoltaic power systems in detail. PV cells, modules, and array structure are discussed. Equivalent circuit of a PV and its characteristics in terms of I-V and P-V graphs are discussed. Different elements when considering design of a PV array is presented, and the peak operation of a PV system is analyzed.
