ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses AC wind generation systems, specifically for offshore applications. Wind turbine components and their model for a typical existing wind turbine are presented together with system component in a typical offshore AC wind farm. Walney wind farm is presented as a representative example, based on which the analysis is presented. The load flow and voltage analyses are also presented.
