ABSTRACT
This book discusses historical view and the current status of the field of nanoionics, nanostructured materials, and nanotechnologies from the nanoscopic point of view based on molecular dynamics simulations. After general discussion for classifications by dimensionality of systems and effects of nanosizing, the systems treated are expanded to disordered systems such as nanoporous glasses and gels.
