ABSTRACT

This chapter starts with a description of linear programming. This chapter helps to create, address, and explain linear programming models and to present some of their implementations in the fields of engineering and management. Various linear programming problems are provided with their appropriate solutions. Examples of lisnear programming problem solution methods, such as graphical, simplex, Big M, and two-phase methods, are given. The existence of dual problems is also considered. Finally, sensitive analysis is introduced. All learning outcomes, solved examples, and questions are mapped with Bloom’s Taxonomy level (BT level) 1 to 6.
