ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the behavior of circuits, which provides a proper diagnostic by generating the test pattern and is compared with a golden machine. Due to miniaturization of devices and increase in the complexity, the testing of circuit and devices is an essential step in very-large-scale integration (VLSI) industry. The predefined test models are used to observe the faults and rectify these faults based on appropriate models. In the current VLSI industry, the designers are used to add some extra circuitry to lower the cost of test that increases the testing procedure, enhances the diagnostic process, and prepares them more efficiently and accurately.
