ABSTRACT
This chapter is devoted to the compound scattering matrix composed of dipoles. Any type of scattering matrix can be created by a combination of dipoles, which can be the basis of a physical scattering model. A dipole is a thin metallic wire that is long enough compared to the wavelength. In this chapter, coherent scattering is assumed.
