ABSTRACT
This chapter is devoted to understanding of scattering mechanisms in PolSAR images and modeling of these scattering mechanisms by corresponding matrices. If scattering mechanisms are connected to physically feasible scattering, it would serve immediate interpretation and retrieval of objects in the PolSAR image.
