ABSTRACT
Goal programming is introduced through two illustrative examples. In the first different stakeholder groups are examined for dealing with the houselessness crisis. Code and results are provided to demonstrate issues such as target setting and deviational variables. The second example shows a case of workload planning for mailing by states using a minimax approach.
