ABSTRACT

In this final chapter of the book, the author presents a series of project templates for implementing multi-screened and choice-based projects. The coding concept of “arrays” is also introduced as a strategy for efficiently loading multiple data sets and a game-like example is presented using an image array of cars for users to pick from and control with arrow keys through multiple screens. Collectively, the examples, exercises, and tables presented in this chapter lay the groundwork for the reader to create a final master project. Suggested interactive projects include games, narratives, quizzes, and art visualizers. A diverse collection of project examples are provided in the download folder associated with this chapter (available from the publisher's website). This chapter concludes with a list of best practices and techniques for moving beyond the guided lessons of the text into self-directed projects.
