ABSTRACT

Due to the unpredictable factors that exist during a process in the chemical industry, there is a considerable risk of runaway reactions accompanied by thermal explosions and fires. Such a situation leads to the release of various toxic chemicals. The harmful gases and heat arise from the thermal decomposition of reactive chemicals, which cannot be removed, such as initiators, cross-linkers, and hardeners. This study focuses on an analysis of the azo and organic peroxide compounds based on their inherent hazardous behavior by using the differential technology of thermal analysis. Such a technique helps in eliminating the source of the harmful effects and ensures the safe practice of unit process with a zero disaster plan.
