ABSTRACT
Introduction to design recommendations for economic machining and sources of dimensional variations by traditional and non-traditional processes is covered in chapter 9. The design for machining by cutting (including broaching, thread and gear cutting), grinding, and finishing processes has been presented In the mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical, and thermo-electrical non-traditional machining domain, the design recommendations have also been considered.
