ABSTRACT

The working environment as well as everyday living conditions makes it increasingly common to use personal protective equipment to protect the upper part of the head, eyes and face. There are many reasons for the widespread use of this type of protection. These include the growing awareness of the threats to the head, eyes and face among the users of protective equipment. No one is surprised anymore to see a cyclist with a helmet and safety glasses. Technological progress in the construction of helmets, glasses, goggles, as well as other types of head, eye and face protection has made their protective properties increasingly high, while maintaining comfort.
