ABSTRACT
Most companies are more focused on attracting new talent than on keeping the existing talent content. This chapter looks into what a data scientist needs for job satisfaction. There are three main areas to consider—goal, achievement, and reward—a lot goes into each of them. Additionally, five data scientist types are considered, along with a summary table with their respective strengths, weaknesses, and ideal positions.
