ABSTRACT
When seeing a fish case, initial preparation and client communication is important to ensure the most efficient approach. This chapter highlights key considerations, including the logistics of a site visit; patient and disease history, including system and water quality information; handling and physical examination; initial diagnostic approaches; and some general emergency therapy methods, if needed.
