ABSTRACT
There are prospective development sites world-wide which are contaminated, and which are a threat to health and safety, on the site and in areas surrounding the site. Such sites if used for residential housing need to be fully investigated and assessed in respect of what remedial measures are needed to restore the site to the level at which the residents’ health and safety are ensured on a long-term basis.
