Models for Digital Circuits and Fault Models

This chapter presents the models used in the book for representation of both combinational and sequential circuits, in Section 2.1. This is followed by a presentation of the basic fault models in Section 2.2 (when required, more specific models will be presented). The two basic ways to consider testing, i.e., functional and structural testing, are presented and commented on in Section 2.3.
