ABSTRACT

Many of the major advances and innovations in the analytical use of polarography have resulted from the consideration of means for overcoming or minimizing drawbacks, restrictions, and limitations found in conventional dc polarography. Figures 3.1 to 3.5 reveal some of the disadvantages inherent in classical dc polarography. An understanding of the inadequacies of conventional dc polarography provides an excellent basis for appreciation of the advances in polarography as an analytical method.
