ABSTRACT

6.1 NOMENCLATURE

Historically, pulse Polarographic methods were developed by Barker [1,2] as an extension of his work on alternating current (ac) (square-wave) methods. However, since this technique may be described using many of the concepts already developed for direct current (dc) polarography and dc linear sweep voltammetry, it is logically considered prior to the ac methods where several new theoretical concepts need to be developed.
