9.1 INTRODUCTION
Typically, the polarographic methods discussed so far offer advantages over direct current (dc) polarography because of the improved faradaic-to-charging current ratio. In general, the favorable ratio has been achieved by some “trick” aimed at discriminating against charging current, although in pulse polarography, for example, larger faradaic currents are also effective in providing the improved sensitivity.
