ABSTRACT
How will the organization of a manufacturing company be affected by CAD/CAM? Certainly there is much uneasiness on the part of departments with long established responsibilities as data processing, engineering design, and parts programmers. The influence of CAD/CAM will be significant. It is therefore imperative that we absorb, change, organize, and accommodate the new techniques with a minimum of disruption and "politics." It is easy to say all people of good will can adjust. It may be true if we can look at the influence of CAD/CAM objectively.
