ABSTRACT
To introduce the subject of network design, this book first considers the implementation of data communication networks and later encompasses voice, video, and data as a whole. By initially taking a user's perspective we attempt to present a rather full menu of possible approaches and the arguments for and against each approach (see Ref. 1).
