ABSTRACT
Touch sensing includes such things as touch screens, touch pens, light pens, and soft keys. The CRT screen remains the most prevalent display device although much work is being done on flat panel displays. At the same time new formats are being developed to accommodate large screen displays, including high resolution scanning and vector techniques. More than one protocol and format have been proposed for this service, but the leading contender for this continent seems to be the North American Presentation Level Protocol Systems. Traveling to work by telephone or telecommuting involves doing the same things the people do when actually at the office: reading, writing, speaking, and viewing or monitoring the work being done. Telecommuting can be utilized for much of the work week. No people can predict the future with any degree of success— they can only forecast trends.
