ABSTRACT
In order to present estimating terminology, the material in Chapter 3 is introduced here with the use of the estimate data flowchart (Fig. 1.1). Each step in that flowchart is described here, first briefly to provide an overview, then followed by a more indepth discussion. Many terms introduced here are expanded in subsequent chapters.
