ABSTRACT

Research on the current investigation system serves as the basis for preparation of a two-step transition. As our analysis has revealed, the present investigation system will have some excellent points and probably some that are not so desirable. As with anything that must be adjusted or changed, revisions to the investigation form and to the investigation system must be timed properly and carried out slowly. In introducing a change to the investigation system, many people are affected, and thus the introduction must be accomplished carefully and with as much participation as possible. Fortunately, the investigation system will have been analyzed with input from those who operate the present system. This information, concerning possible changes, as well as the training needs of investigators, will be well documented in the proposal to management. The investigator training course has to show the participants methods and techniques to enable them to do an investigation quickly and efficiently.
